Narrative:
Tower advised us to maintain 3000 ft and 260 degree heading on departure. En route to cri traffic was called at 3500 ft VFR at 11 O'clock position and 2 NM orbiting. We called that traffic in sight and maintained assigned heading and altitude until clear of conflicting traffic. Departure control then advised to fly 180 degree heading to intercept cri 223 degree radial and we changed frequencys.
