Narrative:

While in cruise at FL310 over the north atlantic we experienced an autoplt malfunction that resulted in a right bank of 1 or 2 degrees that was not detected by the crew. The captain noticed the sun was not where it should be. He selected heading select which had no effect. We selected the other autoplt and returned to our desired track. The flight mode annunciators displayed INS track. We informed gander center of our equipment malfunction. The rest of the flight was without incidence.
