Narrative:
Was told to check play in l-hand main landing gear forward trunnion bearing and for noise during retraction cycle. We jacked aircraft, performed retraction check for noise. Found noise coming from trunnion pin. Lubed trunnion pin and all gear pivots (found trunnion pin grease fitting was hard to lube). Re-swung main landing gear. All noises ceased. Checked play in forward trunnion bearing per maintenance manual. Found to be within limits for service. All points of gear were checked for security and aircraft was released for service. During my signoff of job card, I failed to address or mention side strut in my signoff statement. At the time work was accomplished, it was unclr from management what the scope of work performed was to be. To my knowledge, everything directed verbally by management was accomplished.

Narrative: WAS TOLD TO CHK PLAY IN L-HAND MAIN LNDG GEAR FORWARD TRUNNION BEARING AND FOR NOISE DURING RETRACTION CYCLE. WE JACKED ACFT, PERFORMED RETRACTION CHK FOR NOISE. FOUND NOISE COMING FROM TRUNNION PIN. LUBED TRUNNION PIN AND ALL GEAR PIVOTS (FOUND TRUNNION PIN GREASE FITTING WAS HARD TO LUBE). RE-SWUNG MAIN LNDG GEAR. ALL NOISES CEASED. CHKED PLAY IN FORWARD TRUNNION BEARING PER MAINT MANUAL. FOUND TO BE WITHIN LIMITS FOR SVC. ALL POINTS OF GEAR WERE CHKED FOR SECURITY AND ACFT WAS RELEASED FOR SVC. DURING MY SIGNOFF OF JOB CARD, I FAILED TO ADDRESS OR MENTION SIDE STRUT IN MY SIGNOFF STATEMENT. AT THE TIME WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED, IT WAS UNCLR FROM MGMNT WHAT THE SCOPE OF WORK PERFORMED WAS TO BE. TO MY KNOWLEDGE, EVERYTHING DIRECTED VERBALLY BY MGMNT WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
