Narrative:
Received taxi instructions to runway 36. Mistook active runway for runway 32L and crossed runway 36 without clearance. Was advised of crossing runway 36, but was given amended instructions to taxi to runway 32L for departure. No confusion on my or ATC's part. I just taxied to the wrong runway (32L) and crossed the active and instructed departure runway 36. Yellow caution lights (runway threshold) were operating properly. Supplemental information from acn 496085: captain and I concurred on new takeoff runway 36, then got clearance to take off from ground on runway 32L. As we taxied we thought we were crossing runway 32R but crossed runway 32L (the runway) we were to take off from. Then cleared to runway 36 and take off. No further issue. Expected runway 36 from ATIS, got runway 32L, then were still discussing runway 36.
