Narrative:
After cleared to intercept runway 35C localizer, the autoplt did not intercept localizer final, resulting in an overshoot. As we corrected back to final. ATC advised us of the overshoot and gave us a new heading and altitude to reintercept. We continued to an uneventful approach and landing.

Title: AUTOPLT FAILS TO INTERCEPT LOC RESULTING IN AN OVERSHOOT OF THE FINAL APCH COURSE ON RWY 35C AT DFW, TX.
Narrative: AFTER CLRED TO INTERCEPT RWY 35C LOC, THE AUTOPLT DID NOT INTERCEPT LOC FINAL, RESULTING IN AN OVERSHOOT. AS WE CORRECTED BACK TO FINAL. ATC ADVISED US OF THE OVERSHOOT AND GAVE US A NEW HDG AND ALT TO REINTERCEPT. WE CONTINUED TO AN UNEVENTFUL APCH AND LNDG.
