Narrative:

Departed ord without having obtained pre departure clearance. Discovered after takeoff when ATC said we needed to change squawk code. Immediately pulled up pre departure clearance and no changes were noted from filed flight plan. We didn't deviate from any clrncs with our cleared flight plan and proceeded to cmh uneventfully. We had arrived ord from bos and kept same aircraft. We must have gotten out of our routine for cockpit setup and just overlooked the pre departure clearance.

Title: A320 CREW FORGOT TO GET PDC PRIOR TO DEPARTING ORD.

Narrative: DEPARTED ORD WITHOUT HAVING OBTAINED PDC. DISCOVERED AFTER TKOF WHEN ATC SAID WE NEEDED TO CHANGE SQUAWK CODE. IMMEDIATELY PULLED UP PDC AND NO CHANGES WERE NOTED FROM FILED FLT PLAN. WE DIDN'T DEVIATE FROM ANY CLRNCS WITH OUR CLRED FLT PLAN AND PROCEEDED TO CMH UNEVENTFULLY. WE HAD ARRIVED ORD FROM BOS AND KEPT SAME ACFT. WE MUST HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF OUR ROUTINE FOR COCKPIT SETUP AND JUST OVERLOOKED THE PDC.
