Narrative:
During cruise flight, the flight attendant rang and asked if we would like anything. I placed our drink order. A few mins later, to my surprise, my wife, who was traveling with us, non revenue, came up to the flight deck and gave us our drinks. She promptly left, and was not on the flight deck more than a few seconds. Neither I nor the captain had any previous knowledge that the flight attendants planned this. After landing and parking at cvg, I asked my wife how it happened, and she told me that the flight attendant approached her and asked if she wanted to give us our drinks. Not knowing any better, she said yes.
