Narrative:

Visual runway 26 about 1000 ft AGL, controller asked us (aircraft X) to sidestep on runway 27. Captain (PF) said no, there was a brasilia (aircraft Y) 2 1/2 mi ahead, 40 KTS slower and another aircraft behind us 2 1/2 mi. Controller reclred us to land runway 26 'be ready for a go around.' we landed as the brasilia cleared and missed the first high speed turnoff (normal on that taxiway). About 1000 ft from our next high speed, the controller cleared an MD80 (aircraft Z) for takeoff with the other aircraft on a '2 mi final.' we cleared and were asked to call tower by ramp control. Too many aircraft, too little space. We are frequently asked to push the aircraft envelope at iah on approachs and lndgs. This is just one that got close.

Title: B737 FLC LAND IAH RWY 26 WITH E120 ON RWY ON LNDG ROLL, AND HEAR IAH CLR MD80 FOR TKOF AS B737 IS CLRING RWY.

Narrative: VISUAL RWY 26 ABOUT 1000 FT AGL, CTLR ASKED US (ACFT X) TO SIDESTEP ON RWY 27. CAPT (PF) SAID NO, THERE WAS A BRASILIA (ACFT Y) 2 1/2 MI AHEAD, 40 KTS SLOWER AND ANOTHER ACFT BEHIND US 2 1/2 MI. CTLR RECLRED US TO LAND RWY 26 'BE READY FOR A GAR.' WE LANDED AS THE BRASILIA CLRED AND MISSED THE FIRST HIGH SPD TURNOFF (NORMAL ON THAT TXWY). ABOUT 1000 FT FROM OUR NEXT HIGH SPD, THE CTLR CLRED AN MD80 (ACFT Z) FOR TKOF WITH THE OTHER ACFT ON A '2 MI FINAL.' WE CLRED AND WERE ASKED TO CALL TWR BY RAMP CTL. TOO MANY ACFT, TOO LITTLE SPACE. WE ARE FREQUENTLY ASKED TO PUSH THE ACFT ENVELOPE AT IAH ON APCHS AND LNDGS. THIS IS JUST ONE THAT GOT CLOSE.
