Narrative:
We were en route to mco on the goofy 4 arrival. ZJX assigned a crossing altitude of 11000 ft at bairn. I was flying the aircraft, and became distraction by other cockpit duties. The CDU was set to the descent page, but I misinterped the information provided. I was 6 mi from bairn and had not initiated the descent when I realized the error. I asked for and received permission for a right 360 degree turn to accomplish the descent. The cause for the deviation was inattn on my behalf.

Title: MLG CREW REQUIRED ALT CLRNC RELIEF DSNDING INTO MCO IN ZJX CLASS E AIRSPACE.
Narrative: WE WERE ENRTE TO MCO ON THE GOOFY 4 ARR. ZJX ASSIGNED A XING ALT OF 11000 FT AT BAIRN. I WAS FLYING THE ACFT, AND BECAME DISTR BY OTHER COCKPIT DUTIES. THE CDU WAS SET TO THE DSCNT PAGE, BUT I MISINTERPED THE INFO PROVIDED. I WAS 6 MI FROM BAIRN AND HAD NOT INITIATED THE DSCNT WHEN I REALIZED THE ERROR. I ASKED FOR AND RECEIVED PERMISSION FOR A R 360 DEG TURN TO ACCOMPLISH THE DSCNT. THE CAUSE FOR THE DEV WAS INATTN ON MY BEHALF.
