Narrative:
Loss of aircraft pressurization requiring an emergency descent. Unable to maintain radio contact with ZMA. Needed further descent. Squawk 7500 instead of 7700 on transponder. Problem LCD readout on transponder difficult to read from captain's seat. Also a raised knob blocks view. 7500 squawk set hijacking response into action. Loss of pressurization due to going into manual control of temperature on right air condition system.

Narrative: LOSS OF ACFT PRESSURIZATION REQUIRING AN EMER DSCNT. UNABLE TO MAINTAIN RADIO CONTACT WITH ZMA. NEEDED FURTHER DSCNT. SQUAWK 7500 INSTEAD OF 7700 ON XPONDER. PROB LCD READOUT ON XPONDER DIFFICULT TO READ FROM CAPT'S SEAT. ALSO A RAISED KNOB BLOCKS VIEW. 7500 SQUAWK SET HIJACKING RESPONSE INTO ACTION.
