Narrative:
Flight was dispatched at XA00 from sdf to sgf, then on to ict. WX forecast for intermediate stop and final destination was above landing minimums. Flight to sgf was uneventful. Prior to departure from sgf to ict, paperwork for the flight would later show that prevailing WX at destination (ict) was below minimums. WX received through the ACARS system showed WX would be above landing minimums. However, this was forecast as a 'temporary' condition. Flight dispatch sent release paperwork for the sgf-ict leg, and the flight departed. Upon reaching destination, ict WX was below landing minimums, and the flight was diverted to stl without further incident. This event probably occurred because original WX obtained at sdf showed ict was good. Later reports at sgf showed WX forecast below landing minimums, but ACARS update showed WX above minimums. However, this was in a 'temporary' forecast. Flight dispatch never contacted the flight crew regarding WX deteriorating, and at departure time at sgf, flight release papers were issued with no advisories for landing at ict.

Title: B727-100 CREW WAS NOT PROVIDED FAR REQUIRED FLT FOLLOWING FROM THE COMPANY DISPATCHER.
Narrative: FLT WAS DISPATCHED AT XA00 FROM SDF TO SGF, THEN ON TO ICT. WX FORECAST FOR INTERMEDIATE STOP AND FINAL DEST WAS ABOVE LNDG MINIMUMS. FLT TO SGF WAS UNEVENTFUL. PRIOR TO DEP FROM SGF TO ICT, PAPERWORK FOR THE FLT WOULD LATER SHOW THAT PREVAILING WX AT DEST (ICT) WAS BELOW MINIMUMS. WX RECEIVED THROUGH THE ACARS SYS SHOWED WX WOULD BE ABOVE LNDG MINIMUMS. HOWEVER, THIS WAS FORECAST AS A 'TEMPORARY' CONDITION. FLT DISPATCH SENT RELEASE PAPERWORK FOR THE SGF-ICT LEG, AND THE FLT DEPARTED. UPON REACHING DEST, ICT WX WAS BELOW LNDG MINIMUMS, AND THE FLT WAS DIVERTED TO STL WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THIS EVENT PROBABLY OCCURRED BECAUSE ORIGINAL WX OBTAINED AT SDF SHOWED ICT WAS GOOD. LATER RPTS AT SGF SHOWED WX FORECAST BELOW LNDG MINIMUMS, BUT ACARS UPDATE SHOWED WX ABOVE MINIMUMS. HOWEVER, THIS WAS IN A 'TEMPORARY' FORECAST. FLT DISPATCH NEVER CONTACTED THE FLC REGARDING WX DETERIORATING, AND AT DEP TIME AT SGF, FLT RELEASE PAPERS WERE ISSUED WITH NO ADVISORIES FOR LNDG AT ICT.
