Narrative:
Aircraft took off out of mco. On departure, smoke occurred in the aft cabin. An emergency was declared and we returned to mco. We were on the ground within 10 mins of the smoke occurrence. No indication of fire was found, therefore, we chose not to evacuate/evacuation. The fire department could see no indication of fire. We returned to the gate without incident.

Title: FLC OF A B767 DIVERTED TO LAND AFTER CABIN ATTENDANT RPTED SMOKE IN THE AFT PART OF THE ACFT.
Narrative: ACFT TOOK OFF OUT OF MCO. ON DEP, SMOKE OCCURRED IN THE AFT CABIN. AN EMER WAS DECLARED AND WE RETURNED TO MCO. WE WERE ON THE GND WITHIN 10 MINS OF THE SMOKE OCCURRENCE. NO INDICATION OF FIRE WAS FOUND, THEREFORE, WE CHOSE NOT TO EVAC. THE FIRE DEPT COULD SEE NO INDICATION OF FIRE. WE RETURNED TO THE GATE WITHOUT INCIDENT.
