Narrative:
I initiated a takeoff roll on runway 21 at approximately XA00 at the belen alexander airport (E80) on mar/xa/01. After traveling a short distance, and before becoming airborne, I encountered a strong gust of wind caused by a dust devil. The dust devil moved across the runway from northwest to southeast. When the aircraft veered to the left, I aborted the takeoff and lost control, resulting in a ground loop. The aircraft came to rest 180 degrees from the initial takeoff path on the south side of runway 21/03. During this event a shear bolt on the right main wheel let go, and the right main wheel was turned inward approximately 90 degrees. Neither the landing gear nor axle went bent or broken. The right outer, lower wingtip scraped the runway and both propeller tips were curled back about 1 inch. The left outer, lower wing scraped the dirt prior to the aircraft coming to a stop. There were no injuries to the passenger or me.

Title: PLT OF A BIPLANE, PT 17 STEARMAN, LOST CTL OF THE ACFT DURING TKOF ROLL DUE TO GUSTY XWINDS AND GNDLOOPED CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE R WHEEL AND WINGTIP, AND BOTH TIPS OF THE PROP.
Narrative: I INITIATED A TKOF ROLL ON RWY 21 AT APPROX XA00 AT THE BELEN ALEXANDER ARPT (E80) ON MAR/XA/01. AFTER TRAVELING A SHORT DISTANCE, AND BEFORE BECOMING AIRBORNE, I ENCOUNTERED A STRONG GUST OF WIND CAUSED BY A DUST DEVIL. THE DUST DEVIL MOVED ACROSS THE RWY FROM NW TO SE. WHEN THE ACFT VEERED TO THE L, I ABORTED THE TKOF AND LOST CTL, RESULTING IN A GND LOOP. THE ACFT CAME TO REST 180 DEGS FROM THE INITIAL TKOF PATH ON THE S SIDE OF RWY 21/03. DURING THIS EVENT A SHEAR BOLT ON THE R MAIN WHEEL LET GO, AND THE R MAIN WHEEL WAS TURNED INWARD APPROX 90 DEGS. NEITHER THE LNDG GEAR NOR AXLE WENT BENT OR BROKEN. THE R OUTER, LOWER WINGTIP SCRAPED THE RWY AND BOTH PROP TIPS WERE CURLED BACK ABOUT 1 INCH. THE L OUTER, LOWER WING SCRAPED THE DIRT PRIOR TO THE ACFT COMING TO A STOP. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PAX OR ME.
