Narrative:
Holding short of runway 23, stopped aircraft slightly past hold short line. Tower called for me to stop. No separation loss. Hold short line is approximately 200 ft from end of runway using the displaced threshold on parallel taxiway. Also, close to hold short line for entering runway at taxiway H. I told tower I would use the whole runway, including the displaced threshold, and began to taxi towards the end of the runway on the parallel taxiway H. As I crossed the hold short line, approximately 200 ft from the end of the runway where I expected it, the tower told us to hold up. Aircraft on short final, but no separation loss. Supplemental information from acn 506549: we were taxiing to runway 23 at yyz and I was heads down and the captain asked me to call tower for full use of runway rather than intersection takeoff. I called, they said yes we can. The captain continued and the tower said we just passed the hold short line. The captain stopped and no loss of separation occurred. We were then told to taxi into position and hold(normal takeoff and departure).

Title: CAPT PASSED HOLD SHORT LINE WHEN TAXIING OUT TO USE FULL LENGTH OF RWY INCLUDING THE DISPLACED PORTION. THERE WAS NO KNOWN INTERFERENCE WITH OTHER TFC.
Narrative: HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 23, STOPPED ACFT SLIGHTLY PAST HOLD SHORT LINE. TWR CALLED FOR ME TO STOP. NO SEPARATION LOSS. HOLD SHORT LINE IS APPROX 200 FT FROM END OF RWY USING THE DISPLACED THRESHOLD ON PARALLEL TXWY. ALSO, CLOSE TO HOLD SHORT LINE FOR ENTERING RWY AT TXWY H. I TOLD TWR I WOULD USE THE WHOLE RWY, INCLUDING THE DISPLACED THRESHOLD, AND BEGAN TO TAXI TOWARDS THE END OF THE RWY ON THE PARALLEL TXWY H. AS I CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE, APPROX 200 FT FROM THE END OF THE RWY WHERE I EXPECTED IT, THE TWR TOLD US TO HOLD UP. ACFT ON SHORT FINAL, BUT NO SEPARATION LOSS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 506549: WE WERE TAXIING TO RWY 23 AT YYZ AND I WAS HEADS DOWN AND THE CAPT ASKED ME TO CALL TWR FOR FULL USE OF RWY RATHER THAN INTXN TKOF. I CALLED, THEY SAID YES WE CAN.
