Narrative:
Aircraft flew in from slc with left generator on maintenance carry-over. Was on maintenance carry-over from ord to slc. APU flamed out twice en route. Accepted aircraft with caveat that should APU fail again from smf to slc we would divert to another field. In slc, tried to talk me into taking aircraft on to cvg. Refused. This is second generator out aircraft in 4 legs on 3 day trip. Would have been 3 out of 5 if I accepted it. Our maintenance carry-over policy is out of hand.
