Narrative:
Approximately 4-5 mins after takeoff there was a loud bang from the rear of the aircraft. Our captain notified us that the left engine had stopped. We prepared for a planned emergency landing. We made it through our checklist and landed without incident approximately 15 mins after takeoff. Our captain communicated with us and the passenger throughout the situation. It was very professional and everyone was calm. It was a textbook emergency landing.
