Narrative:
Lost left hydraulic after gear extension on lda runway 22 at lga. Went around, ran checklists, consulted dispatcher, landed ewr runway 22R (11000 ft). Fire equipment standing by as precaution. No nosewheel steering -- towed to gate. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the loss of the left main hydraulic system was caused by the left main gear extend pressure line failure. The reporter said loss of left main system pressure and quantity resulted in no trailing edge flap hydraulic control and loss of nose gear steering.
