Narrative:
PA28 departed climbing on 218 degree heading to bmg off of fwa. CRJ1 departed approximately 1 min later, assigned heading 250 degrees by local. Radar controller turned the crj on course mie and climb to 10000 ft right into the PA28. Radar associate warned approach controller of imminent situation. Radar controller turned the crj to a 160 degree heading. Neither aircraft saw each other. The crj was on IFR flight fwa, mie, then atl.

Title: FWA APCH CTLR IS ALERTED BY HDOF CTLR OF CONFLICTION BTWN CARJ AND PA28 OBSERVED BY THE LCL CTLR.
Narrative: PA28 DEPARTED CLBING ON 218 DEG HDG TO BMG OFF OF FWA. CRJ1 DEPARTED APPROX 1 MIN LATER, ASSIGNED HDG 250 DEGS BY LCL. RADAR CTLR TURNED THE CRJ ON COURSE MIE AND CLB TO 10000 FT RIGHT INTO THE PA28. RADAR ASSOCIATE WARNED APCH CTLR OF IMMINENT SIT. RADAR CTLR TURNED THE CRJ TO A 160 DEG HDG. NEITHER ACFT SAW EACH OTHER. THE CRJ WAS ON IFR FLT FWA, MIE, THEN ATL.
