Narrative:
En route phl, cleared direct to lrp. Dialed in 117.5 instead of 117.3. Was hurried and did not tune. First officer was new and did not catch my error. I was concerned with what my first officer was doing. ZNY caught my error and gave us the correct heading. We then figured out what had happened. Lesson: fly the airplane and do not allow distrs to distract me from flying the aircraft.
