Narrative:
After being cleared for takeoff, the advancement of the power levers was initiated. Shortly thereafter, the left engine torque indication dropped to 0%. We immediately aborted the takeoff. We cleared the runway and returned to the gate uneventfully.

Title: A LIGHT TURBOPROP TRANSPORT REJECTED TKOF DUE TO LOS OF PWR ON THE L ENG. CAUSE UNKNOWN.
Narrative: AFTER BEING CLRED FOR TKOF, THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE PWR LEVERS WAS INITIATED. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THE L ENG TORQUE INDICATION DROPPED TO 0%. WE IMMEDIATELY ABORTED THE TKOF. WE CLRED THE RWY AND RETURNED TO THE GATE UNEVENTFULLY.
