Narrative:
Student taxied aircraft out of a t-hangar. Upon pulling it out, student made a sharp left turn and elevator struck pillar. Student was trying to avoid rocks on the outside of the taxiway by making the turn. Both the student and I turned off the aircraft and inspected the damage. I (the instructor) failed to correct the quick actions of the student in time. Both the student and instructor were rated for the aircraft and were current in the aircraft.

Title: THE STUDENT PLT OF A BE76 HITS ONE PILLAR OF THE HANGAR WHEN MAKING A SHARP TURN ON EXITING SAME AT JENKS, OK.
Narrative: STUDENT TAXIED ACFT OUT OF A T-HANGAR. UPON PULLING IT OUT, STUDENT MADE A SHARP L TURN AND ELEVATOR STRUCK PILLAR. STUDENT WAS TRYING TO AVOID ROCKS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TXWY BY MAKING THE TURN. BOTH THE STUDENT AND I TURNED OFF THE ACFT AND INSPECTED THE DAMAGE. I (THE INSTRUCTOR) FAILED TO CORRECT THE QUICK ACTIONS OF THE STUDENT IN TIME. BOTH THE STUDENT AND INSTRUCTOR WERE RATED FOR THE ACFT AND WERE CURRENT IN THE ACFT.
