Narrative:
As throttles advanced for takeoff at sjc, right throttle would only advance 1/2 way. Something was obstructing the throttle cable. Takeoff was aborted and returned to the gate. Maintenance came out and removed a folded acrs paper closeout that was jammed in a throttle cable pulley in the east&east compartment.

Title: MD80 CAPT ABORTS TKOF DUE TO STUCK THROTTLE PWR LEVER.
Narrative: AS THROTTLES ADVANCED FOR TKOF AT SJC, R THROTTLE WOULD ONLY ADVANCE 1/2 WAY. SOMETHING WAS OBSTRUCTING THE THROTTLE CABLE. TKOF WAS ABORTED AND RETURNED TO THE GATE. MAINT CAME OUT AND REMOVED A FOLDED ACRS PAPER CLOSEOUT THAT WAS JAMMED IN A THROTTLE CABLE PULLEY IN THE E&E COMPARTMENT.
