Narrative:
Unexpected turbulence hit and a meal cart fell on a crew member's foot. Pilot had called the #1 flight attendant (purser) to inform her, but by the time they stopped talking, it was too late for her to inform the rest of the crew. If the captain had just aid over the PA 'flight attendants take your seats,' this accident could have been prevented. Also, he told us pre-flight that he expected turbulence for 1/2 of the flight. Yet, he continued to keep turning the seatbelt sign on and off. There could have been a lot more injuries because of his actions.

Title: B767 CABIN ATTENDANT WAS INJURED BY A FOOD CART FALLING ON HER FOOT DURING AIR TURB.
Narrative: UNEXPECTED TURB HIT AND A MEAL CART FELL ON A CREW MEMBER'S FOOT. PLT HAD CALLED THE #1 FLT ATTENDANT (PURSER) TO INFORM HER, BUT BY THE TIME THEY STOPPED TALKING, IT WAS TOO LATE FOR HER TO INFORM THE REST OF THE CREW. IF THE CAPT HAD JUST AID OVER THE PA 'FLT ATTENDANTS TAKE YOUR SEATS,' THIS ACCIDENT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. ALSO, HE TOLD US PRE-FLT THAT HE EXPECTED TURB FOR 1/2 OF THE FLT.
