Narrative:
Nose gear pin left installed on takeoff. Nose gear pin noticed installed during exterior inspection. Informed captain and first officer who twice confirmed with pushback technician that the pin had been removed. On takeoff, nose gear would not retract. Returned to mia, upon which maintenance technician removed the nose gear pin. Flight continued with no further problems.

Title: B727-200 CREW RETURNED TO THEIR DEP STATION AFTER THE NOSE GEAR PIN WAS LEFT INSTALLED BY MAINT.
Narrative: NOSE GEAR PIN LEFT INSTALLED ON TKOF. NOSE GEAR PIN NOTICED INSTALLED DURING EXTERIOR INSPECTION. INFORMED CAPT AND FO WHO TWICE CONFIRMED WITH PUSHBACK TECHNICIAN THAT THE PIN HAD BEEN REMOVED. ON TKOF, NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. RETURNED TO MIA, UPON WHICH MAINT TECHNICIAN REMOVED THE NOSE GEAR PIN. FLT CONTINUED WITH NO FURTHER PROBS.
