Narrative:
Vectored to final runway 25L lax from sli. Socal (frequency 125.9) told to look for a B767 on a visual to runway 25R at lax. Called in sight. Socal told us to keep speed up to the field and direct quote 'pull up alongside, do not pass B767, cleared visual approach runway 25L.' my belief and pilot organization's is this is a clearance for formation flight without agreement between the SF340 on runway 25L and the B767 on runway 25R. Nonstandard terminology. Vague. Will not accept these clrncs as stated.
