Flying as aircraft X we were given expedite descent to 6000 ft. We touched 5700 ft and then brought it back to 6000 ft. In addition to the expedite another factor was the similar call sign of air carrier Y which was also on frequency at the time this was a distraction.

Narrative: FLYING AS ACFT X WE WERE GIVEN EXPEDITE DSCNT TO 6000 FT. WE TOUCHED 5700 FT AND THEN BROUGHT IT BACK TO 6000 FT. IN ADDITION TO THE EXPEDITE ANOTHER FACTOR WAS THE SIMILAR CALL SIGN OF ACR Y WHICH WAS ALSO ON FREQ AT THE TIME THIS WAS A DISTR.
