Narrative:
The captain that was to take the aircraft used on my flight, called my first officer and said he thought that the mechanic entry made before my flight was incorrect. My talk with the mechanic during the write-up and my review of the record makes me feel that the sign-off was proper for the problem the mechanic said we had.
