Narrative:
After diverting around thunderstorm, cleared down to 1500 ft on visual approach to fxe. Aligned for final to runway 8R, I noticed I was above an airport that did not show on my GPS or instrument chart (low level en route). Looked it up and found it also had a control tower (NFCT). I would like to recommend that airport be included on low level en route chart. Airport is gwinn airport, northwest of palm beach north county (F45). Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter advised that he would notify garman and suggest that the private airport be added to the software database. After landing, he found all the appropriate information on the miami sectional chart. Pbi TRACON provides approach control service to william P gwinn airport (utx), a sikorsky helicopter center, a private airport. Utx is open for brief periods of time, as notamed. There is an associated restr area northwest of utx, R-2936. When either of these airspaces are active, pbi is required to effect appropriate coordination with utx, and/or protect R-2936.

Title: PA30 PLT OBSERVES ARPT (UTX) ON APCH TO F45, BUT L19 LOW ALT ENRTE CHART DOES NOT SHOW THAT IT IS AN NFCT.
Narrative: AFTER DIVERTING AROUND TSTM, CLRED DOWN TO 1500 FT ON VISUAL APCH TO FXE. ALIGNED FOR FINAL TO RWY 8R, I NOTICED I WAS ABOVE AN ARPT THAT DID NOT SHOW ON MY GPS OR INST CHART (LOW LEVEL ENRTE). LOOKED IT UP AND FOUND IT ALSO HAD A CTL TWR (NFCT). I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND THAT ARPT BE INCLUDED ON LOW LEVEL ENRTE CHART. ARPT IS GWINN ARPT, NW OF PALM BEACH NORTH COUNTY (F45). CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR ADVISED THAT HE WOULD NOTIFY GARMAN AND SUGGEST THAT THE PVT ARPT BE ADDED TO THE SOFTWARE DATABASE. AFTER LNDG, HE FOUND ALL THE APPROPRIATE INFO ON THE MIAMI SECTIONAL CHART. PBI TRACON PROVIDES APCH CTL SVC TO WILLIAM P GWINN ARPT (UTX), A SIKORSKY HELI CTR, A PVT ARPT. UTX IS OPEN FOR BRIEF PERIODS OF TIME, AS NOTAMED. THERE IS AN ASSOCIATED RESTR AREA NW OF UTX, R-2936. WHEN EITHER OF THESE AIRSPACES ARE ACTIVE, PBI IS REQUIRED TO EFFECT APPROPRIATE COORD WITH UTX, AND/OR PROTECT R-2936.
