Narrative:
ZID instructed gv to climb from FL260 to FL280. During the initial part of the climb, the controller instructed us to return to FL260. At this time the TCASII activated as an RA. We initiated the descent to FL260. Another aircraft passed over during our descent to FL260. The controller said nothing of the incident. The rest of the flight continued without incident.
