Narrative:
Experienced 2 compressor stalls in rapid succession on right engine while climbing through 3000 ft AGL. Went to idle on right engine, declared an emergency and returned for an immediate landing. Approach and landing were uneventful. This occurred at las airport. Supplemental information from acn 416362: engine was retarded to idle where it stabilized with normal engine indications. We returned to las landing on runway 25R, the active runway. There was no damage to the aircraft or passenger.
