Narrative:
The first officer told me we were cleared to push. After pushing, the controller said to call next time before pushing. The first officer told him he thought he had called. The controller said maybe you did, and be careful next time. I should have verified the pushback clearance, and I will do so every time from now on.

Title: SWF GND CTLR REMINDS CREW TO BE SURE AND CALL FOR PUSHBACK NEXT TIME.
Narrative: THE FO TOLD ME WE WERE CLRED TO PUSH. AFTER PUSHING, THE CTLR SAID TO CALL NEXT TIME BEFORE PUSHING. THE FO TOLD HIM HE THOUGHT HE HAD CALLED. THE CTLR SAID MAYBE YOU DID, AND BE CAREFUL NEXT TIME. I SHOULD HAVE VERIFIED THE PUSHBACK CLRNC, AND I WILL DO SO EVERY TIME FROM NOW ON.
