Narrative:

I was serving as captain for air carrier X flight abc syd-sfo on a B747-400. Upon awakening from my scheduled rest period in the crew bunk, a flight attendant reported that the 2 relief pilots had been both asleep at the same time in the pilot seats when she entered the cockpit. They both denied that they were asleep to her and myself upon debriefing after the conclusion of this flight. I had explained to the flight attendants concerned (3) that there is an automatic alarm that requires regular pilot action. I counseled the 2 relief pilots to make sure that they do not appear to be sleeping while on duty in the future.
