Narrative:
Approximately 1.5 hours into our flight we discovered we had forgotten our maintenance logbook when a few minor maintenance items came up in-flight. Thinking back I believe we got distracted at the very moment we were about to accomplish the 5 min prior items checklist.

Title: AN MD80 FLT CREW DEPARTED WITHOUT THE ACFT LOGBOOK.
Narrative: APPROX 1.5 HRS INTO OUR FLT WE DISCOVERED WE HAD FORGOTTEN OUR MAINT LOGBOOK WHEN A FEW MINOR MAINT ITEMS CAME UP INFLT. THINKING BACK I BELIEVE WE GOT DISTRACTED AT THE VERY MOMENT WE WERE ABOUT TO ACCOMPLISH THE 5 MIN PRIOR ITEMS CHKLIST.
