Narrative:

During climb out right after takeoff on runway 1 at dca, we may have penetrated the southern edge of P-56 area due to light aircraft, high deck angle due to noise abatement procedure, hazy visibility and westerly winds. Captain was flying and I was unable to see if we were over the river. I informed the captain and he immediately turned to intercept the 328 degree radial off of dca mentioned in our page. ATC made no mention of us penetrating the prohibited area.
