Narrative:
Rejected takeoff out dtw runway 3L XA30 local time. Nosewheel shimmy along with a violent shaking of the aircraft. Rejected around 20 KTS. Returned to gate to find out nosewheel tires were out of balance and nose landing gear steering links were worn.

Narrative: REJECTED TKOF OUT DTW RWY 3L XA30 LCL TIME. NOSEWHEEL SHIMMY ALONG WITH A VIOLENT SHAKING OF THE ACFT. REJECTED AROUND 20 KTS. RETURNED TO GATE TO FIND OUT NOSEWHEEL TIRES WERE OUT OF BAL AND NOSE LNDG GEAR STEERING LINKS WERE WORN.
