Narrative:
Vectored off the UKW6 (bowie six). Center gave us a vector off the arrival for traffic. Later was given a heading to rejoin the arrival. Thought they wanted us to join the 140 degree radial southeast of ukw but they wanted us to intercept the 015 degree radial northeast of ukw. Were given some headings and were back on the arrival. No known conflicts. Contributing factors: 1) 6 legs previous day with 2 line checks followed by a reduced rest. 2) vague clearance given by ATC.
