Narrative:
Blew a nose tire on takeoff out of las. Near the end of flight, captain advised flight attendants and passenger. Said be prepared to evacuate/evacuation if necessary. Landing was smooth. No evacuate/evacuation necessary. Emergency crews met the flight on the ground. They said we only lost the tread on the tire. Taxied to gate.

Title: MD80 NOSE GEAR TIRE SHED TREAD DURING TKOF. EMER PRECAUTIONARY LNDG MADE AT DEST WITH CABIN CREW PREPARED FOR EVAC. NO PROBS EXPERIENCED DUE TO ONLY SEPARATION OF THE TIRE TREAD.
Narrative: BLEW A NOSE TIRE ON TKOF OUT OF LAS. NEAR THE END OF FLT, CAPT ADVISED FLT ATTENDANTS AND PAX. SAID BE PREPARED TO EVAC IF NECESSARY. LNDG WAS SMOOTH. NO EVAC NECESSARY. EMER CREWS MET THE FLT ON THE GND. THEY SAID WE ONLY LOST THE TREAD ON THE TIRE. TAXIED TO GATE.
