Narrative:
Made a normal approach to runway 14. Bounced landing. Worried at the last min about end of runway coming up, tried to plant it. Should have gone around on first bounce, but thought I could save it. Second bounce, realized plane was porpoising. Applied full power, 1/2 degree flaps to go around, maintained directional control down runway, but porpoise got worse. Touched down a third time (had probably already bent propeller and could not get airborne). Aircraft came down hard on runway, gear collapsed, gndlooped counterclockwise. Came to rest 180 degrees from landing directional partially off runway in grass and brush. Shut off fuel, throttle, mixture, radio, alternators, master and climbed out. Very sad about my airplane, but extremely relieved to be unhurt.
