Narrative:
Commercial charts do not show the B terminal of mia. The airport diagram does not show that a holding spot has been closed. Someone needs to address these NOTAMS. The closing of a spot is buried in the airport summary of the flight plan paperwork -- very easy to miss in my opinion. I and my captain missed seeing it on our first trip when the same spot was first closed. I commuted to mia last week and the flight crew of this flight missed it as well. They initially taxied to a closed spot then turned 180 degrees around to another spot. There is no diagram of spots. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: callback revealed that there is construction at miami. Some of the designated spots used to contact ATCT ground control have been deleted and others have been added. The locally based crews have no problem with that, due to their familiarity, but other crews have difficulty.

CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: CALLBACK REVEALED THAT THERE IS CONSTRUCTION AT MIAMI. SOME OF THE DESIGNATED SPOTS USED TO CONTACT ATCT GND CTL HAVE BEEN DELETED AND OTHERS HAVE BEEN ADDED.
