Narrative:
The captain wanted the flight attendants to prepare the passenger for a possible evacuate/evacuation by using our planned emergency checklist. The captain made a PA explaining the problem with the flaps. The #1 flight attendant and I began the checklist. We did the emergency PA to the passenger and briefed our assistants. We checked the passenger's understanding of everything also. We secured the aircraft and took our jump seats. I think we had 50 mins to do all this it was plenty of time. The aircraft landed just fine. The passenger remained calm the whole time.
