On takeoff, engine #1 oil pressure rose through red line, then oil temperature rose quickly through red line. Shut down #1, flew visual pattern landed without further incident. Maintenance reported major internal engine damage.

Title: A B732 CREW EXPERIENCED HIGH OIL PRESSURE AND TEMP INDICATIONS ON THEIR L ENGINE UPON TAKE OFF FROM TPA.
Narrative: ON TKOF, ENGINE #1 OIL PRESSURE ROSE THROUGH RED LINE, THEN OIL TEMP ROSE QUICKLY THROUGH RED LINE. SHUT DOWN #1, FLEW VISUAL PATTERN LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINT RPTED MAJOR INTERNAL ENGINE DAMAGE.
