Narrative:
We did not receive our maintenance document before pushback. With the non standard procedures in use at iad for pushback and taxi clearance we were distracted and I forgot to notify the pushback mechanic. I taxied to runway 19L without a copy of the maintenance document. As we taxied onto runway 19L I remembered we still had not received the maintenance document. We notified the tower that we needed to taxi clear. We contacted maintenance and had them resend the document and after review continued on to sfo.

Title: FLT CREW TAXIED OFF THE RWY AFTER REALIZING THEY HAD NOT RECEIVED A MAINT DOCUMENT FROM MAINT.
Narrative: WE DID NOT RECEIVE OUR MAINT DOCUMENT BEFORE PUSHBACK. WITH THE NON STANDARD PROCS IN USE AT IAD FOR PUSHBACK AND TAXI CLRNC WE WERE DISTRACTED AND I FORGOT TO NOTIFY THE PUSHBACK MECH. I TAXIED TO RWY 19L WITHOUT A COPY OF THE MAINT DOCUMENT. AS WE TAXIED ONTO RWY 19L I REMEMBERED WE STILL HAD NOT RECEIVED THE MAINT DOCUMENT. WE NOTIFIED THE TWR THAT WE NEEDED TO TAXI CLR. WE CONTACTED MAINT AND HAD THEM RESEND THE DOCUMENT AND AFTER REVIEW CONTINUED ON TO SFO.
