Narrative:

I am not sure there was an event, but myself and my captain can't recall if we were cleared to land or if we replied to a clearance to land. After landing, I did my normal flow of after landing procedures and we noticed that the approach frequency was still up. I don't know if the frequency was switched in haste, because I may have been in a rush to put in the next ground frequency at newark. Typically tower gives a lot of instructions on landing rollout, while the pilots are still trying to take care of clean up of the airplane. Also we fly into newark on a regular basis that I usually expect a clearance to land 4-5 aircraft out on approach. So we don't usually reply to a clearance to land on short final. A good amount of time can pass between being cleared to land and actual touchdown, so it could be possible to forget if there are other things going on. I hope this helps.

Title: A BA4100 FLT CREW IS UNCERTAIN IF THEY RECEIVED A CLRNC TO LAND SINCE THEY WERE STILL ON APCH FREQ.

Narrative: I AM NOT SURE THERE WAS AN EVENT, BUT MYSELF AND MY CAPT CAN'T RECALL IF WE WERE CLRED TO LAND OR IF WE REPLIED TO A CLRNC TO LAND. AFTER LNDG, I DID MY NORMAL FLOW OF AFTER LNDG PROCS AND WE NOTICED THAT THE APCH FREQ WAS STILL UP. I DON'T KNOW IF THE FREQ WAS SWITCHED IN HASTE, BECAUSE I MAY HAVE BEEN IN A RUSH TO PUT IN THE NEXT GND FREQ AT NEWARK. TYPICALLY TWR GIVES A LOT OF INSTRUCTIONS ON LNDG ROLLOUT, WHILE THE PLTS ARE STILL TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF CLEAN UP OF THE AIRPLANE. ALSO WE FLY INTO NEWARK ON A REGULAR BASIS THAT I USUALLY EXPECT A CLRNC TO LAND 4-5 ACFT OUT ON APCH. SO WE DON'T USUALLY REPLY TO A CLRNC TO LAND ON SHORT FINAL. A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME CAN PASS BTWN BEING CLRED TO LAND AND ACTUAL TOUCHDOWN, SO IT COULD BE POSSIBLE TO FORGET IF THERE ARE OTHER THINGS GOING ON. I HOPE THIS HELPS.
