Narrative:
Approximately 45 mins into the flight from sju to mia. I was notified by another flight attendant that there was a medical emergency and that we would be returning to sju. We were instructed to discontinue the service. Later, I was told that the captain had suffered an apparent heart attack. The plane landed in sju without further incident.

Title: AN A300 CREW, 45 MINS INTO THE FLT, RETURNED TO DEP ARPT WHEN THE CAPT BECAME ILL.
Narrative: APPROX 45 MINS INTO THE FLT FROM SJU TO MIA. I WAS NOTIFIED BY ANOTHER FLT ATTENDANT THAT THERE WAS A MEDICAL EMER AND THAT WE WOULD BE RETURNING TO SJU. WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO DISCONTINUE THE SVC. LATER, I WAS TOLD THAT THE CAPT HAD SUFFERED AN APPARENT HEART ATTACK. THE PLANE LANDED IN SJU WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
