Narrative:

Passing FL240, cabin pressure altitude alarm activated. Captain declared an emergency and had me (the first officer) begin a descent to 15000 ft while the so switched the controller to standby and regained control of the cabin altitude. After control of the cabin was assured, we climbed back to altitude and proceeded to ZZZ1. Maximum cabin altitude was about 10200 ft for about 2 mins. The passenger's oxygen masks did not deploy.
