Narrative:
I took off from palo alto around XA45 on 11/thu/01. My intention was to fly over the san joaquin valley for pleasure. As I had passed sunol on V195 towards the east I listened to livermore tower. While listening to the livermore tower I realized that one of the NOTAMS that I was aware of 1/1979 was not starting 11/fri/01, but was already in effect. I decided not to go any closer to livermore and land at byron in order for me to make another plan to go back. Approaching byron I realized that byron was also falling under the same NOTAM. I finally decided to go to modesto and make another flight plan to return to pao. I have misread the recent NOTAMS for that entire area and I am still confused as of what NOTAMS I have actually violated. I returned to the club today 11/sat/01 to talk to an instructor and we have had problems to clearly identify the NOTAMS I missed and or violated.
