Narrative:
While flying on an IFR training flight (VFR conditions) with my CFI, and getting check out in my newly installed GPS, we violated restr airspace around XXX nuclear power plant. At the time we were flying the full NDB/GPS approach into ZZZ and my CFI was keeping a visual on the power plant to keep us outside of the 10 NM radius. When we landed back at YYY, I was told to call ZZZ approach and they informed me that we had violated the airspace. They also informed me that they no longer authority/authorized that approach because of the conflict with the newly created restr space. Although we were attempting to keep clear of the restr space, we were inaccurate in our estimate of the distance away from the power plant. ZZZ is an airport where a lot of flight training -- practice approachs occur. Recommend FSS release NOTAMS when certain approachs are no longer authority/authorized due to conflicts with newly created restr areas.

Title: A C-310 TRAINING FLT WITH A CFI ENTERS THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED NO FLY ZONE/TEMPORARY FLT RESTR AREA NEAR A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT DURING A GPS APCH AT ZZZ, US.
