Narrative:

We flew VFR from YYY to XXX. I called FSS (ZZZ, us) and received a NOTAM and WX report prior to the flight. I visualized the two power plants and believed we would be clear of the tfr the entire time. From there we flew east into YYY, where we decided to head towards ZZZ. I inadvertently flew into the tfr without realizing it. Upon approach WWW airport (it is in YYY), I realized where we were and made a 90 degree turn to the northeast to go directly away from the tfr. I had a current terminal chart for ZZZ. There were two NOTAMS, one that prohibited loitering around power plants, and one that created a tfr around power plants. I should have drawn the tfr on the terminal chart, by doing so I would have realized how big the restr area was 20 mi diameter. Reduce the size of the tfr to more accurately reflect the risk.

Title: A C172 PLT VIOLATED A TFR INVOLVING A PWR PLANT.

I INADVERTENTLY FLEW INTO THE TFR WITHOUT REALIZING IT. UPON APCH WWW AIRPORT (IT IS IN YYY), I REALIZED WHERE WE WERE AND MADE A 90 DEG TURN TO THE NE TO GO DIRECTLY AWAY FROM THE TFR. I HAD A CURRENT TERMINAL CHART FOR ZZZ. THERE WERE TWO NOTAMS, ONE THAT PROHIBITED LOITERING AROUND PWR PLANTS, AND ONE THAT CREATED A TFR AROUND PWR PLANTS.
