Narrative:
On nov/sat/01 at approximately XA00 am I called flight service and received WX and NOTAMS for a VFR cross country flight with a student from ZZZ, us, to ZZZ1, us. The briefer told me to stay clear of a 10 mi radius from ZZZ2, us. As I spoke with the briefer, I took out my sectional and drew a 10 mi circle around the city of ZZZ2, us to verify with him the area I was to avoid. I departed ZZZ with my student en route to ZZZ1 and proceeded on our proposed route of flight so as to avoid the 10 mi area. As I saw the landmark for the power plant I immediately steered away from it northwest. We flew to ZZZ1 completely avoiding the restr airspace then back to ZZZ. As I landed at ZZZ, the tower told me to call ZZZ center. I called center and they told me I had flown too close to power plant. I explained to them what the briefer had told me. I believe the problem arose because the briefer did not clearly indicate the area I was to avoid and the sectional does not clearly depict the power plant itself.

Title: PLT WAS ACCUSED OF ENTERING A TFR AREA.
Narrative: ON NOV/SAT/01 AT APPROX XA00 AM I CALLED FLT SVC AND RECEIVED WX AND NOTAMS FOR A VFR CROSS COUNTRY FLT WITH A STUDENT FROM ZZZ, US, TO ZZZ1, US. THE BRIEFER TOLD ME TO STAY CLR OF A 10 MI RADIUS FROM ZZZ2, US. AS I SPOKE WITH THE BRIEFER, I TOOK OUT MY SECTIONAL AND DREW A 10 MI CIRCLE AROUND THE CITY OF ZZZ2, US TO VERIFY WITH HIM THE AREA I WAS TO AVOID. I DEPARTED ZZZ WITH MY STUDENT ENRTE TO ZZZ1 AND PROCEEDED ON OUR PROPOSED RTE OF FLT SO AS TO AVOID THE 10 MI AREA. AS I SAW THE LANDMARK FOR THE POWER PLANT I IMMEDIATELY STEERED AWAY FROM IT NW. WE FLEW TO ZZZ1 COMPLETELY AVOIDING THE RESTR AIRSPACE THEN BACK TO ZZZ. AS I LANDED AT ZZZ, THE TWR TOLD ME TO CALL ZZZ CTR. I CALLED CTR AND THEY TOLD ME I HAD FLOWN TOO CLOSE TO POWER PLANT. I EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT THE BRIEFER HAD TOLD ME. I BELIEVE THE PROB AROSE BECAUSE THE BRIEFER DID NOT CLRLY INDICATE THE AREA I WAS TO AVOID AND THE SECTIONAL DOES NOT CLRLY DEPICT THE POWER PLANT ITSELF.
