Narrative:
Flight was planned from ZZZ1 to ZZZ3 and on to ZZZ2 I was accompanied by a pilot. I contacted FSS in the am for a standard briefing for this route and was not advised of any significant NOTAM changes. We departed ZZZ VFR and took up a direct course for ZZZ3. My partner had flown the route before and saw no need for flight following. Our course kept us parallel to and a few mi south of vxx. Altitude changed from 6500 down to 4500 for wind, then back to 6500 due turbulence. Upon landing at ZZZ3, I was contacted by ZZZ center and told I had flown through a recently expanded restr area around X. Neither I nor my partner had any knowledge of this change despite recent flts (IFR) in the area. Had we obtained flight following, I suspect this incident would not have occurred. Center also stated that they had several similar occurrences in the past few days.

Title: GA PLT INCURS RESTR AIRSPACE APCHING DEST AFTER OBTAINING AN FSS BRIEFING THAT HE ALLEGED DID NOT ALERT HIM TO RESTR AIRSPACE ENHANCEMENT.
Narrative: FLT WAS PLANNED FROM ZZZ1 TO ZZZ3 AND ON TO ZZZ2 I WAS ACCOMPANIED BY A PLT. I CONTACTED FSS IN THE AM FOR A STANDARD BRIEFING FOR THIS RTE AND WAS NOT ADVISED OF ANY SIGNIFICANT NOTAM CHANGES. WE DEPARTED ZZZ VFR AND TOOK UP A DIRECT COURSE FOR ZZZ3. MY PARTNER HAD FLOWN THE RTE BEFORE AND SAW NO NEED FOR FLT FOLLOWING. OUR COURSE KEPT US PARALLEL TO AND A FEW MI S OF VXX. ALTITUDE CHANGED FROM 6500 DOWN TO 4500 FOR WIND, THEN BACK TO 6500 DUE TURB. UPON LNDG AT ZZZ3, I WAS CONTACTED BY ZZZ CTR AND TOLD I HAD FLOWN THROUGH A RECENTLY EXPANDED RESTR AREA AROUND X. NEITHER I NOR MY PARTNER HAD ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS CHANGE DESPITE RECENT FLTS (IFR) IN THE AREA. HAD WE OBTAINED FLT FOLLOWING, I SUSPECT THIS INCIDENT WOULD NOT HAVE OCCURRED. CTR ALSO STATED THAT THEY HAD SEVERAL SIMILAR OCCURRENCES IN THE PAST FEW DAYS.
